Terms of service

These terms govern your use of wapp.shop (the "Service"), operated by the team behind w.app ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. The Service

wapp.shop lets businesses ("Merchants") create an online catalog that their customers can browse and use to send orders through WhatsApp. Orders, payments and deliveries are arranged directly between the Merchant and their customer. We are not a party to those transactions.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract.
• You must give accurate information and keep your password secure. You're responsible for everything that happens under your account.
• Tell us right away if you think your account has been accessed without permission.

3. Your store and content

You own the content you upload, including product names, descriptions, prices and images. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, display and process that content only as needed to run the Service.

You are responsible for your content and for the products you sell, including their legality, accuracy, pricing, taxes, fulfillment, refunds and customer service.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Sell illegal, counterfeit, stolen or dangerous goods, or anything that requires a license you don't hold.
• Upload content that infringes someone else's rights, or that is hateful, fraudulent, deceptive or sexually explicit.
• Send spam or unsolicited messages, or violate WhatsApp's own terms and commerce policies.
• Interfere with the Service, try to access other accounts or data, or scrape or overload our systems.

We may remove content or suspend stores that break these rules.

5. Store links

Your store address (wapp.shop/yourstore) is assigned to you while your account is active. Some addresses are reserved, and we may reclaim an address that is misleading, infringes a trademark or belongs to an inactive account.

6. Free trial, subscription and payment

• Every new account gets a 7-day free trial. No card is needed to start it.
• After the trial, the Service requires a subscription of $15 per month, billed in advance each month until cancelled. Payments are processed by Stripe. If you don't subscribe, or a payment fails, your store stops accepting orders until the subscription is active.
• You can cancel at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and fees already paid are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. The new price applies from your next billing period.
• We never charge commissions on your sales.

7. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties such as WhatsApp (Meta Platforms, Inc.). wapp.shop is not affiliated with or endorsed by Meta. Your use of WhatsApp is governed by WhatsApp's own terms, and we're not responsible for its availability or changes.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available and secure, but we provide it "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We may add, change or remove features, and we'll give reasonable notice of changes that significantly affect paid subscriptions.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Termination

You can stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or put the Service or other users at risk.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is significant, we'll notify you by email or in the dashboard before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.
